As I've said, CCH will have their hands full later today. All three goal scorers for Trinity last year against them were juniors and Stockton was not even one of those, so they are all back. The CCH keeper and defense will have to play well and CCH will have to hold the ball when they can to keep possession. I'm looking forward to seeing the two CCH center mids match up w/ Stockton. Wouldn't be surprised to see a man marking there but maybe not.

Will be a good test for a CCH defense that has only one player that has seen Trinity's speed . 3 of the 4 were not defense last time they played.......

So you've seen Trinity twice, and how many times have you seen Covcath? Ballow and Litzler not getting any love? I hope they read this. Did you hear that boys, you're slow and technically inferior.

C'mon, it seems that you are taking someone's opinions, and thoughts on the match, as a slight unless they are in line with your opinions about CCH. I do not see this as the case, futbalfan is simply offering up his take on the matchup... I do not see where he downplayed your boys, just stating that he thought that Trinity was quicker and had better skills at some positions... a simple observation on his part.

This being said, I am not sure how they match up because I have not seen Trinity play before. I do hope that CCH outplays them today and comes away with a good result... regardless of who looks better on paper, in a few hours, the discussion will be about who performed the best today.

A few times last year and twice this year actually. Keep in eye on 15 and 7 for Trinity. I know 7 (Stocton) is going to Indiana and I believe 15 is also a D1 signee.

I've seen Stockton slice through 4-5 players in traffic and is the 2013 player of the year in Ky. I don't see CCH with that type of player on the pitch.

Here's a little more info on Stockton.

Q&A Trinity soccer's Sam Stockton

I wish the CCH players all the best and will be rooting for them but just providing some objective analysis.

That's good info. Thnaks.

Guilty. Sort of. Not saying that CCH forwards are better than Trinity, just tired of the theme on this site that CCH can posses with their strong midfield, but can't score. Early indications are that they can. I think CCH will test the Trinity defense as well. If there midfield matches Trinity's as fut says, I like their chances. That's why I said I think this game will be close. We'll see how the CCH defense can handle their forwards, if they can't... well then.

Fair enough... I hope you guys have a win to talk about on your ride home tonight... save travels to and from today.

CCH finds out today if they are in the conversation about possible state title contenders. CCH can get a win against a quality squad and lift the whole region.

Exactly. I'm not sure they (CCH defense) can handle Trinity's forwards with the personnel they have starting in the back right now but we'll see who takes the field. I believe our midfield/forwards will give Trinity all they want........hopefully.
