Ironton travels across the river to take on a new look from Russell. Russell is coming off a come from behind victory at Greenup County and Ironton is coming off another embarrassing butt whipping at the expense of Wheelersburg. Who wins this one and why?

I think Ironton has improved a bit from last year's team due to some experience. Last year, I know they were very young up front. This year they all have a year of experience under their belt and should put on a good show against Russell. Russell is just too young and too inexperienced with their new offense. However, I do believe Maynard's defense will show up ready to play.

That score sounds about right to me as well. I think Ironton has more speed than Russell. I just keep thinking about the talent Russell possesses and if they buy into Coach Maynard's system, we could all be shocked and see Russell win this one.
