September 26, 201411 yr Anybody got any Ryder Cup picks? I wanted to get on Europe for the whole event but couldn't bring myself to do it. They're loaded and the US has struggled over there. Individual matches would be awfully hard to pick. Rory and Sergio play together today twice and only get 1/2 point.
September 26, 201411 yr First glance at the college football games for this coming weekend, give one or two that stand out to you and why. Here are mine: South Carolina (-5.5) against Missouri. I don't think Missouri is up to its recent editions. South Carolina has looked good since their opening night shocker. Take away home field and you're telling me that South Carolina is only 2 points better than Missouri (who just lost at home to Indiana). Doesn't seem right. UTSA (-4) at Florida Atlantic. UTSA returns 21 starters, lost to Arizona by 3 and AT Oklahoma State 44-13 but weren't totally dominated. Florida Atlantic hasn't done much of anything, including a 55-7 loss at Nebraska. Two "no name" teams but it seems like one can compete with the big boys and one can't. Rethinking my first pick but still like my second one.

Werth and Espinoza appear to be the only "regulars" in the starting lineup. I don't think the "bet against the team the game after they clinch" theory is as solid as people think. They are going against a bad team who is doing the same thing. It's like a spring training game.

September 26, 201411 yr I'm with you on New Mexico. Leaning toward MTSU. Waiting for the postseason with baseball--even then, I don't like betting it much.
