Here's a question for you guys...How do you guys handle a hot streak?

Are you patient and steady? If you're a $50 player, do you stay at $50 for the most part? Do you step it up a bit? Do you step up to $60, $80, $100? Do you look to unload? Do you try to find one or two to play $100, $200 or more?

First glance at the college football games for this coming weekend, give one or two that stand out to you and why. Here are mine:

South Carolina (-5.5) against Missouri. I don't think Missouri is up to its recent editions. South Carolina has looked good since their opening night shocker. Take away home field and you're telling me that South Carolina is only 2 points better than Missouri (who just lost at home to Indiana). Doesn't seem right.

UTSA (-4) at Florida Atlantic. UTSA returns 21 starters, lost to Arizona by 3 and AT Oklahoma State 44-13 but weren't totally dominated. Florida Atlantic hasn't done much of anything, including a 55-7 loss at Nebraska. Two "no name" teams but it seems like one can compete with the big boys and one can't.

Nothing wrong with stepping it up some if you like a game especially when you are hot. But I wouldn't bet it all.

I'm playing Seattle again tonight. I really like Paxton on the hill.

Yeah, that is typically what I do. I think I've heard that you should never bet more than 30% of what you have to play with.

If you have a settling point it's ok to step up a play on MNF if you are hot and like the game and will get paid regardless. For instance say you and your local only settle anything over 500 and you are up 850, nothing wrong with betting 2 or 300. You are still getting paid.

That sounds about right. With the local guy, we meet on Saturday morning, usually, so I'm eyeing a game on Thursday night.

Week 4 looks really crappy.

Yeah, the college schedule, especially. There haven't been many "great" college games since week 1. However, just as many winners as every other week.

That seems unusual from what I am used to, as MNF usually the cutoff and gives gamblers one chance to get even or double up. By giving everyone MNF and Thursdays, another 2 games to get their money back is different to me. But I guess that can work both ways.

Saturday morning is just easier for everyone to meet (if they need to). As long as you know what day is the end of the week, it really doesn't matter much.

I understand, but haven't heard of that before.

I didn't post, but I liked Giants and over. Been at poker game and didn't have time to post. Glad I slept past Reds game start. I liked Milwaukee this afternoon.
