When SL is shooting like this NO ONE in this region can beat them. It will take a terrible shooting night (sorta like against Boyle Co.), coupled with a great shooting night for the opposing team (sorta like agsint Boyle Co.) for any team to beat SL.

 

Even in that game, SL attempted 20+ more shots than Boyle, so the margin is still razor-thin. And I think Boyle is head and shoulders above the rest of the 12th and would be a clear second were they in the 13th.

True..... but SL shot something around 27 percent from the field despite having more shot attempts, whereas Boyle shot close to 60%. You cant win when you are shooting like that. Yet SL still almost pulled out the win.

Totally agree. However, they are doubly dangerous when they are playing great offense as well.

Were you even at the Boyle-SL game? SL forced a ton of turnovers, which helped get them the advantage in shots taken. SL didn't play bad defense on Boyle; the Rebels simply were smoking hot and hit a ton of tough shots.

Sometimes, the other team just plays their best game when the team tabbed as being the better team does not have their best game. That can lead to an upset. I have seen it in every sport nearly every season. I saw it in football more than once this past season and in basketball as well. This was an example of that IMHO.
