Mother Nature "wrecks havoc" on the 1st week of the season

This is the 1st time that I can remember this many games across the state being cancelled/postponed because of Mother Natures fury.

Wonder how many, before the night is over, will be affected.

Besides the postponed games so far, the Bellevue/Walton-Verona game was called as the 2nd half was to begin because of lightning. Walton was leading 40-0.

It's like waking up Christmas morning and being told it has been moved to March.

Woodford County vs Nelson County will be played at 6pm tomorrow night.

As of 9:05 am Saturday

Just got word that the players have been informed that the DeSales @ Louisville Holy Cross game that had been postponed until Saturday @ 7pm has been CANCELLED.

The AD's will meet to see if it is feasible to reschedule the game but as of right now the game has been cancelled. Not sure if there would be an open dates that would accommodate both schools.
