Central Ky. Force 18U wins Platinum Division with a record of 6 and 1 for the weekend.

The team I used to coach - Cincy Doom 02 ( 11u ) based out of Portsmouth Oh . played in the 12u division. They run ruled or nearly run ruled all their pool play opponents and finished second in bracket play to the Ny Ky Stealers . 12 team field, and from second hand reports most were of the B level. NOT that there were not some good teams there , but the majority were younger or inexperienced 12u teams . Didnt get any reports on how well the tourney was ran .

Do you know anything about the 14u? There is a team called the Richmond Dynamites that I'm trying to find out about that was in this particular group

The link opens for me , try just google searching it and going from there .. anyway it appears the Dynamites failed to make the Platnium Pool and won a couple games in the Gold Bracket as a 7 seed . Lost to the Loose Cannons .

12U Platinum Bracket was won by the NKY Stealers and they went a perfect 6-0 on the weekend.

Chamionship Game was very exciting and pitcher dominated. Doom has very nice pitcher (not sure of her name) but defilately throws low to mid 50's and has a nice change-up as well. I believe that at one time she struck out the side 2 or 3 innings in a row. NKY Stealer pitcher also threw a very nice game and was backed up by some great defense. Doom was up 1-0 going into the top of 7th and the Stealers get runners on 2nd and 3rd. #6 hitter up to bat and gets around and drives a double to left center that scores tying and go ahead run. Doom comes out in the bottom of 7th and loads the bases with 1 out. Stealer pitcher gets strike out and then get Doom lead off hitter to pop a change up to fist base!

 

I will say this as well. All the players, coaches and parents from the DOOM are first class! They were very respectfull and complimented our girls on a great tournament. First Class!!!!
