Sounded like a great game. Leslie had a chance to win with a few seconds to go, but missed. Congrats to Hazard.

Leslie's sure going to be a formidable opponent for one one of the winners from the other districts. They will play either Lee, Jackson City, or June Buchanan, since they can't play Hazard again unless they meet them in the championship game.

Same thing with Estill County....no one's going to look forward to playing them in the first round.

Game was a war!!! Morgan had a great game for Leslie well over 20 pts (18 first half). Hicks had off night for Dawgs 3 for 16 from field.

M. Campbell had a huge game for Hazard. 18 pts 11 rebs, pretty good for a freshman. Jon walker came off bench for 7 huge pts in 4th qrt. Olinger played only 3 min in second half before fouling out.

This looks like it was a good game. I agree with the Professor their isnt a team in the region that will like drawing Leslie and Estill. The 14th is wide open this year it should be a great tournament.

I'm glad to see Hazard pull this one off. Going soley on possible draws for Estill - I know the bulldogs are beatable on a neutral court as Estill took them to OT at Memorial Gym.

FYI the dawgs lovvvvvvvvvve kcc's court!! hOW MANY TIMES has Estill played there?.........To the Dawgs.....KCC is like being at home..lol

But since this thread is really about Leslie and Hazard...........Leslie lead most of the game..........and the dawgs came up with the W. I think these two teams will give the region a run for their money. Q Morgan is awesome for Leslie and the DAwgs are just playin team ball, whoever needs to step up at the moment does. They play great defense and They will be a force to be reconned with in the region. CONGRATS DAWGS.......FIGHT TO GO TO RUPP.................I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

Someone at the game said he was a 2 year holdback. He was big in this game. Morgan from Leslie was awesome. Missed free throws and a turnover gave Hazard the chance to come back. Very good game looking forward to the region.
