I see what your saying about society as a whole, I'm just saying I don't see how parents could turn their back on their own kids. If someone is a Christian they should love their child or anyone else for it is not for us to judge and we should love one another as we all are sinners and no sin is greater than another in the eyes of God. Jesus was pretty clear on what the two most important commandments are...When he was asked... Matthew 22:36-40 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
