Tuesday night final from Maysville.

Minor upset. Lady Bears won the regular-season matchup a coupled of weeks ago 5-2. Here's the story from today's Maysville paper:

 

Lady Royals capitalize on errors in 7-1 win

Pretty accurate write-up. I was impressed with Mason County's hitters. They hit Emma early & often. Lady Bears certainly had their miscues in the field, but errors did not cost the Lady Bears the title. Mason County was better in every single facet of the game.

 

As far as the Regional draw goes, I don't know if winning or losing this game makes a huge difference. I don't see a huge difference between drawing Bourbon or GRC out of the 40th. Same is true with Brossart & Campbell from the 37th, though Brossart seems to be a little better than Campbell. There is, however, a difference between drawing Harrison County or Nicholas County.
