Basketball season for 2014/2015 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Walden Remember, please be constructive.

With all due respect, who is Walden and what region are they out of? I honestly have never heard of them, and I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the HS sports landscape.

They're a small school out of Louisville. Not sure which region off hand.

Walden is a small school located on Westport Road in Louisville (in the St. Matthews area). 28th District, Seventh Region. The high school has a total enrollment of 45. Walden had a record of 9-17 last year, and returns most of its starting lineup, including a center who is about 6' 6" (although he was hurt near the end of the season last year; I don't know his status). While Walden cannot compete against most of the teams in the Seventh Region (Ballard, Trinlty, etc.), it will once again play its small school schedule and will have a shot at one of the best seasons in its history. Definitely not big-time high school basketball, but a group of kids who work hard and compete as best they can.

My cousin sends her son to Walden. Private school dedicated to small class size. They cap total class size for every grade at 16, at least in the lower school. They may allow more at the high school level when they can get them.

It appears that this year's High School graduating class at Walden totals 7 - 4 boys, 3 girls.

Thanks to everyone for the info.
