Believe they play in Leweyville this weekend. I know the east doesnt get any respect at all but most years Ashland fields a solid team and wins a couple in the sweet 16 . This year led by U of L recruit Megan Hensley and shes a beast in the circle . Low 60's with good control and spin. Pretty solid team behind her but not offensively a juggernaut . But if you dont score you cant beat them . Shut out ( no hit ) state ranked Wheelersburg Oh ( Led by LSU verbal Michal Cunningham) last tues to hand the Burg their first loss . Girl can pitch.

Good player and a good teammate.

mcKenzie Vanover is a beast, too.

Dave always has his squad ready to go. Them or East Carter win the 16th.

I've never seen Hensley play but I've heard that she is the real deal. I've heard a lot about Vanover too. It would be nice to see a team from the East step up and compete with the big dogs annually. It will only make softball in this state stronger.

Did Ashland play in Louisville this weekend or maybe next weekend ??
