It is just for residents of the City or those that purchase city utilities such as Gas and Water. However we can't get it yet either as far as I know. The $3.57 price was up and down US 27 this morning.

I'm going to go out on a limb and bet that start date came with input from local retailers so they could still cash in on July 4 travel.

Maybe, but they are all pretty upset from what I have heard. The woman I talked to at City Hall seemed to hint that it would not be ready by then because she repeatedly told me that it was a tentative date.

 

Interesting thing is that only about 1/5 of the counties population will be able to get the "City Gas" and all of those from surrounding counties to work here won't be able to get it either.

 

I'll be impressed if this keeps prices lower and continues after this falls general election and on into next year.
