Boone County 6 Conner 5 (9 innings)

Ganns going 4-5 with 3 dubs(one off the fence), hustling out an infield single, and pitching into the 7th is putting your team on your back!

Ganns is a stud!! By far easily the teams MVP all year. He can absolutely crush the ball. When he and Dunn faced off against eachother, Ganns was the only one to put any good swings off of Dunn and his first 2 at bats he crushed the ball, his first was run down in the gap for a fly out but his second he hit a no doubter double in the gap. He can outright crush the ball.

I love watching him and Dunn face off against eachother because both can bring it from the mound and both can crush it at the plate.

From the always popular 2nd guessing the coach files:

B9, Boone down 1. Leadoff batter reaches first on a close play but looks like he tweaked his hammy. Delayed for a while .

Needing one run and your kid just hurt his hammy why wouldn't you put Floyd in to pinch run? Gann doubled and IMO Floyd would have scored on the double. The kid who was hurt was limping between 2nd and 3rd.

Yes it worked out ultimately but it seemed like the obvious move. No?

I think Floyd was already used as a pinch runner earlier in the game. Congrats to the Rebels for hanging tough and battling back all night. Congrats to coach Huff and his staff on another job well done!

He was used as a courtesy runner. Not the same thing.

When a pinch runner was passed for the kid who got hurt I would have then put in a pinch runner for Ganns at third base when it was tied in case I needed him to tag on a fly ball.

Yes Floyd was already used as a PINCH runner as well as courtesy. And Ganns had already reentered once so would have had to come out.

My apologies for missing he was a pinch-runner and that Ganns re-entered.

I remember them using a CR for Ganns. Did they use a pinch-runner for him after he left the mound?

Yes it was in the 7th

I must have been yapping with the Enquirer guy.

Had the kid who tweaked his hammy already been subbed for?

Regardless, 2 comebacks by Boone in do-or-do says a lot about them.

33rd tourney will be fun.

Ganns & Johnson comes up big with the two out hits in the 7th to tie the game.

Are the seedings final yet for the 33rd?

Boone 2-0

Conner 2-1

Ryle 0-1

Cooper 0-2

Total toss up once again in the 33rd. Should be fun to see.

Boone 2-0

Conner 2-1

Ryle 0-1

Cooper 0-2

If Boone and Cooner tie would the district go to Boone on head to head or is a coin toss required?

Same situation goes for Ryle and Cooper, what happens if they have identical records?

I would say both situations would go head to head. But what if it becomes a 3 way tie?

2-way tie would have to be head-to-head.

Pretty sure 3-way goes with a coin toss.
