So who are the 9 returning starters for Dixie on defense?

I think with the incoming Juniors, the incoming Sophomores, and the mix with the Senior class that the Raiders are going to surprise a lot of teams. I know that early success does not always become varsity success. But as a counter point the last two Frosh teams have been wrecking crews and last year's Jv were very good. I personally think this team has the heart and talent to get it done on Fridays. I wouldn't worry about the QB position. There are kids on the roster that can play and Coach Engler will have them ready.

They do according to those who seem close to the program. Just cause they started that game doesn't mean they don't return 9 starters. Would be nice to get a list of the 9 they're talking about. I guess if they had replacement starters agains SK that would explain why SK won.

Only players I seen who got a lot of playing time on defense returning are #33 Owens, #76 Johnson, #58 Machlitt, #27 Zajac, #26 Harrison, #30 Schulte after watching the Cooper/Dixie game video.

Dixie only returns 2 starters on their O-line.

SK returns starters NT #90 Marksberry, LB #45 Deaton, LB #7 Hicks, and LB #24 Carter. But SK had at least 12 other players getting a lot of playing time on defense. SK will have the best defense like always!

They very well might but they haven't shown in the past that they can reload when losing top talent so I'll wait for them to prove themselves.

They still have top talent! OL Olmsted, WR Winkler, TE/OL Vercheak, LB Hicks, RB Powell and the best linebacker around Barry Deaton!

As they should be but history has shown that when they get to the big stage they've struggled.
