Bowling Green put it on Warren Central in the 14th District title game, even though the Dragons won the 2 regular season matchups.

Who wins the 4th Region title game & why?

Purples have all the momentum right now, and I have a feeling that they will not be stopped.

72-62 BG

Tucker Sine as MVP (if they do that sort of thing).

I firmly believe that Warren Central's best is better than Bowling Green's best. Problem is, Warren Central's best hasn't been around this postseason. After closing the year playing what looked to be their best basketball - which included wins of 44, 34, 24, 14, and a win at E-Town - they have looked strikingly mortal in the postseason. First it was another close call against South Warren and then a straight beatdown at the hands of Bowling Green in the district title game. The margins look good against Clinton County and Monroe County, but each game was within 3 points in the 4th quarter and in the case of Monroe, it was VERY late. Meanwhile Bowling Green is on a 7 game winning streak and hasn't failed to win by double digits in any of them, which includes the aforementioned win over Warren Central (on a neutral court), a blowout of Henderson County, and a win last night over host Barren County, a 20 win team that never got closer than 7 in the second half. That 7 point margin was the closest margin Bowling Green has had against any team in the postseason. They appear to be peaking, and unless Warren Central can rediscover their shooting touch, it really feels like the Purples will take this one. Hopefully I'm wrong, but right now I see BG by 9.
