Heard a rumor Dick is stepping down for health reasons..

 

That would be a shame on two counts. Most importantly that Dick Maile is having health issues, and secondly a shame that the Lady Tigers would be losing one heck of a coach who definitely has the program moving in the right direction.

A program can be on the way up because of an influx of talented players, but to add superior coaching to the talent mix, doing right things right and putting that team in a position to win are two entirely different matters. I think Dick instilled that in this team, who can only benefit by having played under him.
