Sidenote: I saw a picture of Luke Maile recently where he had his hair cut in a buzzcut. Shocking how much he looks like Dick in his LSU days.

Great tribute to a nice man and great coach. To have survived that long coaching means he is doing something right.

Couldn't get it to download. This is the grandfather that played at I believe LSU and coached briefly at Beechwood in the 60's?

The young ladies at Beechwood are extremely fortunate to be coached by Dick. He has taken a program that has toiled in obscurity for decades and has them running with the big dogs.

 

I wish Dick many more years of success on the hardwood and anxious to see where this group of young ladies takes him down the road.
