Clyde Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Nice story. Dick can certainly coach. Sidenote: I saw a picture of Luke Maile recently where he had his hair cut in a buzzcut. Shocking how much he looks like Dick in his LSU days. http://wxix.videodownload.worldnow.com/WXIX_2802201423271222227AC.mp4
tark the shark Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Great man and is the patriarch of a great family!
wxyz Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Great tribute to a nice man and great coach. To have survived that long coaching means he is doing something right.
75center Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Couldn't get it to download. This is the grandfather that played at I believe LSU and coached briefly at Beechwood in the 60's?
Mustang Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I posted earlier this season that if you don't think coaching matters, you better check out Beechwood under Dick Maile. The young ladies at Beechwood are extremely fortunate to be coached by Dick. He has taken a program that has toiled in obscurity for decades and has them running with the big dogs. I wish Dick many more years of success on the hardwood and anxious to see where this group of young ladies takes him down the road.
