At the end of the day, Ballard could lose in the region tournament so this all discussion could be for nothing.

 

Very true. If all goes well for Trinity, we could be watching Hoptown try to grind it out at the oppressively slow pace of Szabo's very deliberate style of play. No one has to worry whether Trinity will try to make anyone run.

Like I said before Ballard and Hoptown are like 1 and 1a in the state. If they match up it will be a great game that either team can win. I my opinion seeing them both play, Ballard has the top 2 players, but hoptown will put the better 5 on the floor, and hoptown has a deeper bench. Ballard will have to overcome a full court press that is relentless, but they are a more disciplined team than hoptown. It may come down to the free throw line, and honestly neither team is very impressive from there.

The difference is that Ballard has Q. He can control the tempo to his liking without turning it over.
