Hey Ox, is there any word as yet on the start time of the Bowling Green game? The St. X web site still says TBA. I hope they are planning to start a little sooner just in case the same thing happens with the weather that happened last year.

I understand why they want St. X to play the second game; but, let's be practical, of the four teams in the Rafferty Bowl, St X. has the farthest to travel in the post game. Even without the weather related problems we still would have been home at 1 to 1:30 in the AM. That's an unrealistic expectation.

Nothing certain yet, BiddieCat, but I was told by some in the know that this year X would play Bowling Green in the first game. Like you, I hope that this is true. Since I have close relatives who reside in Bowling Green, I plan on staying there overnight, but for most of the Tiger faithful the travel home after the late second game is a royal pain. If I hear anything more, I will let you know. :thumb:

Heard a rumor that they might be going back to the old schedule...both PHS and BHS playing on the same night (Saturday -- and would be at Pikeville because it is in the shadow of the building of the primary sponsor).

If so, that ought to be a very good night to see at least 3 VERY good teams. (And, if we pick things up better by that time NEXT year than we did THIS past year, maybe even 4???).

I like that idea. I liked the old format better with the 2 "marquee" games on saturday at Pikeville. No disrespect to Belfrys field (How could I DIS that place it awesome). But im more old school when it comes to the PCB.

They do loose a lot of starters but they are returning maybe 4 of the biggest playmakers in 3a and maybe even they state in Ben Revere, Shane Isreal, Jacob Locknane, and Winston Guy. But the knights have a strong upcoming Jr class to which i think that they could be relitivly good with the leadership of there playmeakers.

But can these "playmakers" make big plays with a different quarterback?
