JokersWild24 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Final per the scoreboard. Scott County has risen from the pack and the middle grouping in the 11th is starting to get really murky. As far as the #3-#9 or so teams, nothing would really surprise me.
Clyde Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing MadCentral Friday in Park Hills. It will be a very tough matchup for CCH.
JokersWild24 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) I'm looking forward to seeing MadCentral Friday in Park Hills. It will be a very tough matchup for CCH. Player to look out for: Cameron Thomas. He's only a sophomore, but could be one of the better players in the 11th by the time he's a senior. The sophomore class in Lexington is looking very nice with him and Dunbar's Darius Williams (already easily a top 10 player in the 11th). There's also Scott County 7 footer Raekwon Long. Add to that a core of 4 or so kids who will never really be superstars that already make up the nucleus of Lafayette's team in Harrison Lane (son of Transy coach Brian Lane), Ross Jenkins (already 6'6), Lucky Jackson (great athlete who is an all-city receiver in football), Jaelin Jenkins, plus freshman Jajuante Carpenter, whose come on at the end of the year. Henry Clay has some kids in Isaiah Tisdale and Jordan Houston who've kind of been forced into duty but have gotten a baptismal by fire, along with more of their younger kids, so I'm guessing that they don't forget some of the beating they've taken this year when they are experienced juniors and seniors. Sleeper of the 2016 class: Andre Davis (Bryan Station)
Slim859 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Will he be back by district? My guess is no. Dislocated elbow.
