Swishenator Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 A valid point can be made that as many as 6 teams have a chance to win Region 1. One way to try and setup a hierarchy is those top 6 teams records against the others in the group. Here are those records. Graves 5-2 McCracken 6-4 Marshall 6-4 Calloway 3-2 St Mary 2-4 Tilghman 1-7 Using this method I think you can likely boil the first region down to a four team race. Now how do those four teams do against each other? Graves 3-2 Calloway 3-2 McCracken 3-3 Marshall 2-4 Probably too close to call still so lastly how do those teams do against each other away from home? Graves 2-1 Calloway 1-1 McCracken 1-2 Marshall 0-3 Using these breakdowns at this point I think you have to say the Region is a 3 or maybe 4 team race as teams will have to be able to win away from home. Based on this I would rank the probability of winning the region like this. 1 Graves 2 Calloway 3 McCracken 4 Marshall 5 St Mary 6 Tilghman

I think one of the top 3 will win it. I might pick whichever of the 3 draws opposite the other 2.
gold sunrise Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Really appreciate all your posts on this Swichenator!!!!
redleg13 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 McCracken lost two games to Calloway earlier in the season. If I'm not mistaken, their very first game as a program was a close loss to the Lakers. They have improved nicely since then. I am biased but I give an edge to the Mustangs coming out of the 1st Region.
