Congrats to CovCath McMurtry and Wichmann

Featured Replies

William McMurtry and Nathan Wichmann have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as Finalists. This is among the highest recognition to be earned by a college-bound senior. Finalists represent less than 1% of current seniors across the country who took the 2012 PSAT/NMSQT (college placement exam).Finalists_comp.jpg

My reasoning for posting this in the HS Basketball fourm is that Nate plays and is a very important member of the CovCath Basketball Team.

So much for the dumb jocks, that some think kids who play sports are!

Congrats to both young men and their families!

Very nice! Congrats to both young men. Nice to see a positive post about CovCath students for a change this month!

Atta boy, Wick! (and the other young man whom I've never spoken to!) :thumb:

That is as big as it gets...National Merit Finalist!

Congrats to both of these young men on an outstanding accomplishment. :thumb:

Other young man is a swimmer. Congrats to both and the other students around here who have done the same.

What I know about Will is that he is a great kid and a very good swimmer (you have to be to swim at Cov. Cath.). All the best to Will.
