Campbell County was 2nd game (or third) I believe... Lost by 2? Hatton was still not himself. Dixie only lost to Manual by 3 with Hatton and Rabe on bench sick in second half... Manual has been in and out of several top 20 rankings.

 

Dixie is where they need to be as far as their level of play right now. Rankings are fun for fans, but don't mean jack SH!t

I totally agree with you... I could give two cents less about a list of names on a computer screen. My point is that, right now at this moment, based on the talent and ability of all teams, Dixie is absolutely a "Top 20 team" -- based on their record... "no, they are not!" Its a good thing that their actual team gets to step on the floor and play games from here on out and not their record from two months ago.

 

So, to your point, if Ruthsatz went down this week with a season ending injury, should CovCath stay ranked where they are because of their record? Do you think they would do as well moving forward without him? Would their fans be saying, "well, if Ruthsatz hadn't gotten hurt, then...?"

I, myself, am scratching my head with that one. They've played a heck of a schedule, but have lost every game to a ranked opponent if I'm not mistaken.
