I expected a Boone win but I didn't expect Boone's margin of victory to be this big. Game details anyone?

Final from last evening's game at the home of the Rebels.

Boone was led by Junior Stockwell's 16 points and 6 assists. Brenden Stanley with 14 points and 4 assists, Brett Mayberry with 12 points, and Hunter Hixenbaugh with 10 points and 4 assists also contributed.

The Tigers were led by Jacob Huff's 18 points and Conner Brock had 14 points. Both players had 4 3pt FGs each.

Boone County controlled the boards 38-16 and forced 15 Beechwood turnovers while only committing 4 of their own.

I did expect this, VOR. Boone is a pretty good team.

Obviously Boone is a little better than I thought and Beechwood is not quite as competitive with them as I thought they might be. I was thinking a 12-15 point spread, not a 27 point Boone win.

Boone was up 44-21 at half. After a few adjustments, we played pretty even with them in the second half.

Love me some Junior Stockwell. Absolutely one of the kindest, gentlest, most polite kid you will ever meet off the court... But when he is on the court one of the most fierce and tough competitors there is. Great kid, great player.

Boone distributes the ball pretty well, they had 22 assists for 32 made baskets last night.

Looked more like Boone called off the dogs, if Boone wanted to beat BW by another 10-12 they could have done so easily.

If memory serves...the margin was around 19-20 when the benches were cleared.
