Ive seen Silver Grove in action getting beat by a running clock, they are 0-9 and the tallest starter is 5'5"? And someone started a thread about why there is no interest in girls baskketball? Not trying to be mean either but this sort of sums if up why their is a lack of interest in certain forums.

 

Really?? Because you think I'm trying to put SG down or something? I actually have defended SG on here before. I admire the courage those kids have to show up and play as hard as anyone. It's actually refreshing to see kids play just because they love the game.

 

My question is a serious one questioning the validity of a poll that has a SG ahead of many other schools that everyone on this board knows they shouldn't be ahead of.

 

Is that not allowable in a forum talking about the rankings on a public forum??? Not calling SG out, I'm calling the voters out!

AND I have not seen Silver Grove at at all this year. I had no idea what their record was. I was asking if the appearance of them on this list was surprising to everyone else...kinda to see if I was missing something. If they are as bad as you say, how did they get votes from coaches. That's my question.

This reflects very poorly on this poll. Got to question what some of the coaches were thinking when they made their votes. Maybe they don't consider Gallatin Co. to be in NKY. Although, I would be just as upset if I were Beechwood, St. Henry, or Dixie. I feel pretty strongly that all 4 of these schools would running clock Silver Grove.

Sorry if you took offense to my statement or if you thought I was picking on Silver Grove. I was just trying to reference the other thread about lack of interest in girls hoops. There is a large gap in the talent of the top teams versus the bottom teams. Makes it hard to watch and hard to post scores on here when teams get blown out.
