The Conner Lady Cougars are hosting the 3rd Annual LaRosa's Hebron Holiday Classic on Dec 26th - 28th. Coach Stamm and his staff has invited some great teams again this year. It should be a solid 3 days of basketball. Teams and schedules are listed below:

Looking forward to enjoying some good girls basketball this week at Conner. I'll be the one in the black BGPs hat and I will be there for most of the tournament. Go Cougars!

We'll be there on Friday night for the Highlands/Boone game and then the Bishop Brossart/Conner matchup. Just look up and wave.

Any predictions on who wins this year?? I enjoy this tourney every year because Stamm does an amazing job getting talented teams from down state!! Makes for some great girls basketball!!

Very good game. The game was closer than the final score. Both teams swapped the lead all thru the first 3 periods. Was a 1 or 2 pt game thru most of it but Boone wore down Henry Clay and by the 4th period it really showed as Boone pulled out to a double digit lead.

 

Boone really played great fundamental Bball as they were a lot smaller than HC's team yet were great getting some key rebounds. S Moore for Boone really played great defensively and made some key rebounds and D Knotts hit some huge 3's as she went on to win game MVP while M Mcgarr was clutch down the stretch at the line. A Schwitzer and M Ford also made some great shots in clutch situations.

 

Henry Clay has so e really nice players in #2 and #10 and #4, true scorers. This however may have been the best I've seen Boone play this year so far. Very solid game from all of them.
