I hope that someone(Clay, Corbin, North, B'ville)gives South a battle anyway in the regional tournament and I will be very surprised if it does not happen!

 

I would be very suprised if it DOES happen. Did anyone see what SL did to poor ole Hazard last night.

 

Vouch, Hazard isnt very good, but it is the same team that played North very close, and North is arguably a top 5 team in this region (along with 8 other teams). SL was really playing well. They could have won by 50+ if they had wanted. If they play like that in the postseason, no one will play with them.

Good win for the Tigers without Swafford. Lewis stepped up big for the Tigers last night. Jones was a work horse. If Sizemore would have been 100% and Swafford would have played Clay would have won by 15+. Good win Tigers.

I don't know. I think it was about the foul they called on Jones. If so he had a good gripe. I don't even want to get into the officiating though.

I agree 100%. Those 3 guys were supposed to be some of the tops in the region. Iv'e watched some basketball games this year, and there is a lot of officials in the region that call better games than they did last night.

I heard Coach Gray challenged his team to shut him down at half. The challenge was met.

 

There were three factors that I can think of that contributed to Crawford's two points in the second half.

1. Clay extended their pressure which made Coach P. move Crawford out 35-40 feet from the basket to relieve the pressure, then after he passed it off he rarely got the ball back.

2. He seemed to tire from working so hard offensively, defensively and on the boards.

3. Clay concentrated their defense on him.

I was impressed with the 12th region officials who did the 13th region tourney last year, i really don't know if Corbin would have won it with 13th region officials. Hopefully the 15th will have a more consistent whistle than what I have witnessed from the 13th this year.
