Bengals Steelers updates

Featured Replies

They start the game off looking....well not so good. 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1 and they can't convert only to fumble the snap on a punt to give steelers an easy Td.

Start off looking like the Bungals o. National TV. Better change quick.

Does anyone doubt Green -Ellis can get a yard most of the time when the defense is p,along short yardage? I knew he would be short before the ball was snapped on that 3rd down.

Why does Peerman call for a fair catch on a kickoff? OMG these guys are idiots!!!!!!

More proof that Marvin has no clue how to prepare a team for a big game.

id also love to k ow how many times Tate has fielded a punt inside the 10 yard line in his career, I bet he leads the league in that.

Hahaha, I saw that coming a mile away....so predictable

I don't know what he was doing, but that was not a fair catch signal. By definition, the returner has to wave twice over his head, they allow the one wave a lot, but that was not a wave. He put his hand up, but no wave.

Bengals first 2 offensive possesions.......negative yardage?

I'm not so sure on that, I think all he has to do is wave his hand above his head. Either way he was an idiot for doing that period.

Why would the steelers even run the ball? Until the secondary can show they can do anything other than arm tackle tonight I'd throw every play

It apparently does not say "twice" any longer, but it does say he has to "wave", he did not "wave". He put his hand up.

The member of the receiving team must raise one arm a full length above his head and wave it from side to side while kick is in flight. (Failure to give proper sign: receivers’ ball five yards behind spot of signal.) Note: It is legal for the receiver to shield his eyes from the sun by raising one hand no higher than the helmet.

I think he was telling Tate he had the ball, but it looked like a fair catch signal.

This is ridiculous

Here is what really bothers me. The Bengals have gotten a ton of love this week nationally, even today on all the pre game shows, and what do they do? They come out and look like jokes on their first 2 possesions and special teams. They look anything but one of the better teams in the league. For all the football fans watching the, for the first time this year are probably saying " yep, same old Bengals"

It was a clear wave, I thought so when it happened even before they said anything.
