Nebraska is one of the few programs that can scratch that check and move on. I still believe he has coached his last regular season game at Nebraska.

December 3, 201312 yr To be fair to Pelini, he was asked a question about whether he was worried he could be fired and he simply answered it. He did not in any way, shape, or form bring it up out of the blue.

No. They made the Big Ten Championship game in their first year in that league last year....with one of your bad coaches and several players still around who were recruited by the other one of your bad coaches. Pelini is a volatile and combustible ticking time-bomb, but I don't think it is fair to categorize him as a "bad coach". Nebraska is still Nebraska, in my opinion. They aren't the Mid-90's version that was the top program in America, but they are still a top program and will continue to be with or without Bo.
December 3, 201312 yr Isn't it likely that some of these 'big time' programs come to the pack some and others could disappear completely? Recruiting to Lincoln has to be a nightmare. Back in the day, they were on TV every weekend. Now every team has games on TV so that's no longer an advantage. I'm just saying, given the choice, why go to Lincoln instead of South Beach.
