I have to admit, I am a little bit bummed out that Central lost.

 

As a Belfry fan, there is a part of me that really wants that shot at Central if we are lucky enough to get past a really tough Bourbon County team next week. Losing to them 4 straight times in the finals (2007, '10, '11, '12) has a way of fueling the fire in your belly.

 

That said, any time you are lucky enough to make it to the championship game you are happy, no matter who you play. I wish Wayne County all the best next week, would love to see you guys make it there. Hopefully, my Pirates will be there waiting, but if not, a Wayne Co vs. Bourbon Co final would be a blast to watch.

 

Was at the game tonight and Central was picked apart in the 2nd half and looked really bad on offense...Wayne executed the game plan! However, if Wayne doesnt fix their punt issues they won't get passed PT. Punter put them in a bind all night. Central had a short field several times and Wayne's D stepped up...but you can't rely on that. Gotta fix that this week! Playoffs are getting interesting!!

Congrats Wayne County, good to see 3 teams from the Lake Cumberland area win Regions tonight.
