I find it very hard to believe that I witnessed 2 of only 34 Soccer ejections in the state.

 

IMO, I don't believe the Refs are enforcing certain penalties. They are less likely to give a player multiple Unsportsmanlike Penalties that will put them out of the game. I have seen actions that should have been flagged, but instead you see the ref pull the kid aside and talk to them. So the numbers more reflect the inaction by officials more so than the reduction in unsportsmanlike conduct.
