I don't know a whole lot about Shelby County other than their starting QB likes to talk a lot of smack about John Hardin and Matt Elam. Giving the Bulldogs additional motivation is probably not the smartest thing to do. I think John wins by 4-5 TDs only because Coach Lewis calls off the dogs.

The usual blowout in a John Hardin Region 2 game.

It would help if I could spell Hardin correctly in the thread title. Not sure how to edit that.

Hoss,

Do you know J Hardins recent record against Shelby Co?

Talkin smack when you dont have the horses to back it up is really stupid. I'd lean towards a 5 TD victory for JH.

Purple, the only game I am aware of that they have played was two years ago in the 1st round of the playoffs which was 63-13 John. I love it. Hope he keeps talking it up. John's starters held Bullitt Central to 10 yards on offense last week the half they were in and I don't think Shelby is much better.

Agree. Let me change that to 6 TD victory for JH!

John Hardin 42-12.

Since the current setup of Region 2 began in 2008, John Hardin has won every region title and played 16 games They have won those games by an average of 30.11 PPG while scoring on average 43.5 PPG. Even if you took out the first round they're winning by an average of 23.8 PPG while scoring 37.3 PPG. In all those years, only once has a team come within two scores of them, that being Anderson County in the 2010 region finals (4 points), and they're not even in that region now. Doss is the only other team to come within 20 points of them and that was in 2008 (14).

The point being that when you're picking a John Hardin game in-region, start with John Hardin scoring at least 31 points and winning by 21 and work your way up from there.

Well I certainly hope that remains the case again this year DragonFire. I do think if they win and Bullitt East wins their game this week, we might have a competitive game next week.
