Not sure how you can have Franklin above Anderson since they did beat them convincingly head to head and won the district...but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

 

Franklin Should not be above Anderson for the same reason Connor should not be above South, not sure how people can justify.

 

Anderson Co. has two losses, Franklin Co. one and Anderson got annihilated in their last game versus Collins. I know there are excuses/explanations for the Collins game but that seems to me to explain how Franklin is above Anderson.

 

As to Conner over South Oldham ... I am not sure what the justifiaction could be for that one. My guess is Conner has been highly ranked all year and they have Drew Barker. South Oldham didn't start getting noticed till they won the district and snuck up on everyone in these rankings

Makes no difference. They handled Franklin Co, beat everyone else in district and won it. Both losses were to top 4A teams on the road and they definitely did not put themselves in the best position to compete in that last game against Collins. If records were reversed and Franklin had beat Anderson head to head I'd argue for them being ranked above Anderson being an Anderson fan. Like I said, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, I just think Anderson has the argument to be ranked above Franklin.

Sorry. I disagree. Especially when you point out Anderson's two losses were to 4A schools. But like you said, no big deal. I will just say head to head does not automatically put you ahead of the team you beat if you didn't get the job done on the rest of your schedule.
