Congrats Lloyd Jugg's on a great win tonight setting up next weeks 2-A game with Brossart. Continue the winning ways and make Erlanger proud. JD

Beal is a man. I thought HC was the better team, but shot themselves in the foot when they had multiple chances to put this game away. Congrats on the Juggs for continue to fight and get the win. They will be a tough out in the playoffs. HC still has an opportunity to make some noise, so those boys need to dig in and make something good happen out of a difficult start to the season

Closer than I thought this would be.

Plays that stick out for me from this game that were "difference makers":

1) The 61 yard punt by Riddle late in the 2nd quarter that was downed at the HC 1. HC was up 14-0 at the time. That punt changed field position dramatically. HC went 3 and out and the punt was only to the HC 32. Lloyd took it in from there to make it 14-7 at the half.

2) Molitor interception of Scott pass at Lloyd 1 in the 3rd quarter. A Beal TD had made it 21-7 HC. Lloyd had gone 3 and out and punted and HC was starting again at the Juggs 31. HC was driving again to try to go up by 21. On 3rd and 1, Scott did play action, pump faked and threw toward what he thought was a wide open Harvard. Molitor made an amazing play to make the interception.

3) Gabbard runs for 90 yards and a TD. That was the third play after the Molitor interception. Gabbard appeared stopped for a short gain and he burst out of the pile and broke it outside. Instead of 28-7 HC, it was now 21-14. A huge momentum swing.

4) Overtime. Lloyd stuck it in on 3 Gabbard runs. HC started with 2 critical penalties. First and 20 instead of first and 10. That took running Beal out of the OT equation. Ballgame. Congratulations to Lloyd. I thought it was a good close game.
