Yes, I believe they won the JV tournament. I'm sure they are proud.

Man you guys make it tough - giving half the story and making me dig for the details.

I though it was a ridiculous situation before I found out the school and the player, now that I know both it is beyond ridiculous and borderline unbelievable. To say the adults involved should know better is an understatement.

I could give a rats butt who the kid was and no way do I want to know and I think it is wrong that anyone would attack a kid on a public forum but as far as a HS goes,....Let have the name?

I am not smart enough to figure out the program nor patient enough to start searching for it, so maybe a soccer mom could tell us all what HS we are talking about...

Ok, I have been pm'd by a very reliable source indicating that the school in question here is Scott HS. Can anyone confirm this?

Well...............All I can say is if it were Highlands, Notre Dame, CovCath or NewCath it would be on.

So what is Scott HS and their coaches thinking....MY LORD folks, you have crossed the line imo

With the severe butt kicking most of the sports teams take on a regular basis, they figured they better get a tourney title somehow. :idunno:

Yes, I think oddly that you are correct. 5 varsity regulars playing in the JV tournament? What a sad program and bunch of parents. Even worse that two of those players can't make it through the JV tournament without red cards.

Might be a little strong calling the parents out especially at the HS level. Not saying that they do not have a say with the coach and the Scott soccer program as to who plays where and when but I would be surprised if this is the case.

Not alot of kids would disobey their coaches request and nor should they because the coaches are the authority figures and adults here and they are the ones to be held accountable for the actions of their student/athletes.

This is on the Head soccer coach and the AD of Scott HS imo. And you are correct, sad situation for a HS program and a very poor example has been played out at the expense of a whole bunch of really good soccer programs in NKY, JMO
