SK had two turn overs returned for TDs. Boone has a nice QB coming up. I would like to see SK run the power formation some when they get in the red zone. They have a lot of talented backs that play D only. But when you have 50 kids guess you do what you have to do.

Kind of a strange game. I don't think either team played particularly well but both had very big plays. I was really impressed with the QB for Boone. Very comfortable in the pocket and throws a nice ball. #26 for Boone can flat run, he had a very nice game including an 87 yard pick 6 to get Boone back in it in the 4th quarter. That score got Boone to within 4 points in the 4th quarter but they were just out of gas at that point. SK gashed them on run plays for a TD then recovered a Boone fumble on the ensuing kick off and scored on 2 plays to get to the final score. Dylan Hampton the RB for SK had a good game with a couple of long TD runs. Tanner Green (QB) was very up and down in this one. He had some really nice throws but some equally bad decisions. A pick 6 and a fumble that were both returned for scores need to be fixed before next week. All and All a very entertaining game to watch, both teams have some athletes that are going to be fun to watch over the next 4 years.

I was told the game was a little closer than the score indicates. I was told 32 to 28 Simon late in the game with Boone at midfield.

 

The Boone QB is Peter Westoff or PW3 as he is affectionately referred to by his teammates.

Again a very strange game. SK was up 3 scores gave up a long TD, walked the ball down the field only to throw an 87 yard pick 6 on first down to cut the lead to 32-28 then responded with 2 TDs late. And yes Boone did have the ball at midfield with a chance to take the lead.

#44 for Boone, Chandler Feinhaur had the hit of the game. Late in the fourth he shot thru untouched from his middle line backer position and just blew up Tanner Green. Green thru a pick six on the play.
