I think Dixie also wins this one, but I have to give credit to NCC. They don't shy from anyone. It may be costing them in injuries this year (I have no idea), but they definitely challenge themselves with the schedule they play. They seem to "get it". Schedule tough out of district to best prepare you for the road ahead. I love it!

I never count out an NCC team. I don't care what their record is.

 

As they have shown many times, it's not how they start, it's how they finish.

Dixie should win this one handily, but they have a history of screwing up at the most inopportune times and NewCath is a quality opponent. Still, NewCath is walking wounded at this point, and playing the kids you will depend on in years to come should bring a payoff down the road. They won't win, but if they can keep from getting anyone else hurt, this game should help them when the district schedule starts, not to mention the playoffs. Dixie 35-14

I stand corrected, Not sure when it was changed, but it's been in Newcath's schedule as a home game from the start.

Couldn't agree more, they and Beechwood have that mentality and it usually pays off, for the record a good, and with Dixie a borderline very good 6A team should handle a 2A foe. Kudos for NCC scheduling the way they do, it prepares them for the playoff run.
