On Monday September 9th

 

The Colonels JV team travels to Lockland to play the Moeller Crusaders in a contest with the kickoff coming at 5:30pm

 

The Colonels Freshmen team host the Simon Kenton Pioneers at Wooten Field on Wednesday September 11th with the kickoff coming at 6pm

 

The Colonels Varsity travels Southwest to Louisville then West through the state of Indiana then South, to get to Henderson County to play the Colonels.

 

This game will start at 7pm Central Daylight Saving Time in WKy but remember, in the Eastern Daylight Saving area of NKy, the game time will be at 8pm.

Makes sense, as with all the injuries, far too many 10th graders who would be starting and playing in the JV game, will be now starting for the Varsity.

Yes- they can they have and they will. Couple things conspired against this one from happening: 1) My understanding is that there was a field conflict up at Moeller and 2) Injuries from the previous weekend coupled with the Moeller game made it less possible and considering the injury bug that has hit recently it was a wise decision.

Play Henderson this Fri (which is, in the long run, a game that means nothing) and give everyone a full two weeks of healing before Highlands.

Field conflict would explain that on Friday the JV players where saying the game was cancelled

Yes...It is obvious that since this one was cancelled by Moeller PRIOR to the V game, they are clearly scared to play CCH !
