104 just isn't enough games. More games eliminates some of the randomness of the game and the best teams usually do make the playoffs. You're also eliminating almost 30 home games per team.....lots of lost revenue that puts smaller market teams (like Cincinnati) in even a bigger bind. Plus, a lot about baseball is rhythm. I think it would be hard to stay sharp with 3 off days every week. I do get the healthier part, but injuries will still happen, and with fewer games, those injuries will have a bigger impact on a teams season.

Shorter season would also allow a team to catch lightning in a bottle and wouldn't allowed high payrolled teams as much time to wear down the others. I'll grant that 4 games per week is radical but if you look at it in a vacuum it makes sense, not other pro-sport plays as much as baseball, and face it the last 40+ games for all but a handful of teams are meaningless. If Baseball was just now invented, 4 games a week would make more sense than playing everyday. There is no reason for the season to last April til November, season would end by the middle of October every season.

As Czar I would also would have a structured pay schedule without a hard cap but with Max contract limits in place, kinda like was suggested by someone else that the NBA has.

Allow PED use.

Bunch of freaks dropping bombs and throwing gas. Cozart would go 30/30.
