Wayne County 36 South Laurel 7

Not shocked by the score. I thought that maybe Wayne Co would have beefed up their schedule after last season.

Have you compared your schedule with Wayne's?

If you are talking about Bell County then yes. Bell plays Knox Central, Harlan County, South Pittsburg, Middlesboro, Whitley Co any of those teams are better than Wayne Co non district opponents. Just saying after last season with everything returning they should have bumped up their schedule if they are going to beat Central or even win the district.

Wayne Co. is on a roll.

What does it matter if you schedule all those teams and get beat by them? Better worry about whats going on on your team's field. I would call getting blanked in your scrimmage, getting drilled by South Pittsburg and playing even with Marion County concerning.

We will see when the time comes. Everybody is saying that Wayne Co is one of the teams to beat and they haven't had a signature win yet. What I am trying to say is that they aren't going to be battle tested. So who is your team? Probably someone who all ways gets beat by Bell County.

Bell County plays a tougher schedule, but not by as wide a margin as you say.

Knox Central - Southwestern (even)

Whitley - Monroe Co., (even)

Middlesboro - Garrard Co. (Garrard, close margin)

Harlan Co. - South Laurel (Harlan Co, very heavy margin)

Marion Co. - Rockcastle Co(even)

South Pittsburg - Williamsburg (South Pittsburg)

Harlan Co. and possibly South Pittsburg(they lost badly this weekend) are the only teams that I see that are clearly better than the teams on Wayne's schedule.

The way you paired the games might not be the fairest. What might be a more appropriate measure would be to rank the twelve non-district opponents and then see which teams skew toward the top and bottom.

Whitley could not play within two touch downs of Monroe this year.

I am in no way saying Wayne will beat either Corbin or Bell, but the Bell fans are getting a little itchy that people are talking about Wayne County. But September 27th we will see how Wayne fares against the unstoppable Bobcats of Bell.....

It looks to me that Wayne Co. is doing their talking on the field. I think that Corbin will give Wayne Co. a good test, but Bell Co. and Corbin will more than likely be fighting for the #2 seed when all is said and done.

So you think that Corbin is better than Bell? Wayne Co has all of the pressure.

Wrong. Bell has all the pressure. If Wayne loses to Bell then it's just because they are Bell County. If Wayne beats Bell then Bell has fell off the map. The pressure is on Bell and Corbin to maintain their seat at the table. You can say what you want but Bell has been leaking oil since last year. You graduated a monster senior class, you had the rumblings in the offseason, the Cox boy hurt his arm, and you had a blowup at the banquet. You better hope your right about Bell because if your wrong it could get even more interesting.

There is not any pressure on Bell at all they lost everything Wayne has it all. The Cox boy is fine. You still never answered my question about which team you are for.
