Holliday has seen enough of Homer for one night.

Doubt he'll see him a 4th time as Homer's pitch count is at 89 through 6.

With one exception Homer went 100+ in every start in July and August.

I know that but the next pitch will be #104 for him. If he is pitching the way he has been he won't see Holliday until the 9th.

He is averaging roughly 15 pitches per inning (this inning will likely be higher as he's on #16this inning already). But lets say it is 15 per inning. That's 119 after 8. Hopefully we have a lead and Chappy comes in for the 9th.

Where is that pitch blue?

Pretty low stress 106 pitches. I think he might go out for another one.

2 straight stud performances in the pennant race against the team that has your number.

I definitely think he will be out there for the 8th, unless the Reds get to his spot in the lineup (5th up this inning).

Well never mind, looks like he's done and really mad.

I'd be pissed too if I was Homer if they just said "you're done." If they said "if we get to your spot, you're done", I'd understand.

Well done kid!!!!!

Comes against the best in the game.

Frazier looked like crap bunting but makes up for it with a RBI double. 1-0 good guys. You run Homer back out now even if we get to his spot in the lineup?

There we go boys!!! Hamilton injecting some life into the stadium simply by stealing a base.
