I'm very puzzled by this score after WC's solid debut win.

Me too.

It could well be that Larue County is really bad, which inflated our opinions of Washington County.

You could be right I know Larue lost a lot from last season.

Lost a lot is being kind. Larue started 5 sophomores and 2 freshmen on defense vs. Washington County, and the only reason it wasn't 7 sophomores was because 2 of them were hurt.

The other night vs Hart County, not only was Larue young again, but they had 9 freshmen/sophomores who saw significant playing time..including their entire starting backfield out of the game due to being injured or players moving mid week.

Green County is going to be a force. Mark it down; especially if they are feeding the Class A 100 Meter Champ, Evan Jaggers like I think they did on Sunday night.

Green was unfortunately counted out by many after their loss to Bardstown, but most didnt realize that Bardstown returned practically returned everybody from a 9, 10 win season last year. That new assistant coach I'm sure hasn't hurt things either in Tiger land.

Green plays a killer schedule and could be 6-4, 5-5 at the end of the year and have a dang good ball club.
