Cross town rivals meet up this week for the 33 years in a roll. The rivalry started in 1980 when Franklin County Schools built Western Hills. Franklin County has heavily dominated this series over the years. The last ten years Franklin County has leads the series 8-2 and has outscored Western Hills 450 – 129. Last year’s meeting the Flyers won 63-0.

Both teams picked up wins in their openers. As Franklin County seems to have picked up where they left off last season as the defeat North Bullitt 54-14. Western Hills looks much improved as they picked up a win against Owen County 33-6.

Predictions?

Should be a better game than last year, but still too much Flyers. FC-49 WH-13

Franklin Co. 44-14.

Franklin Co. 44-14.

Alot of chit chat around town this year, on this game more than normal a little confidence out of the west side. I think it is a good match up. Hills should have some nice kids coming back at the skill spots, and FCHS is a younger team than normal.

I Voted Western Hills but i meant to vote FC. Franklin co. take off in 2nd half, 42-13 Flyers.
