Only that the Panthers played pretty good, and not so much for the Warriors! A lot of sloppy play and mistakes! Early in the game Kyle Fletcher (40) and Curtis Williams (4) played pretty well.

 

For the panthers Tim Champlin, Matt Clevinger, Tim Honaker, Jacob Sword, and Robert Boyd all played well! A great team performance for the panthers!

 

Boyd suffered a concussion in the second half...Still waitin' for the call on his condition...Nothing serious I'm pretty sure. Talked to him on the way to the hospital.

 

Officials were disturbingly bad, but hey, its the 15th region what can you expect! And let me clarify, I didn't mean bad in any certain direction...just bad!

Does this mean Pikeville gets the 2 seed and gets into the regional tourney??? Would be huge for a great school that excels at everything in academics and sports except boys basketball... :ylsuper:

I think each team shot around 15. Pikeville could have iced the game with about 2 minutes to go but missed 3 straight bonus FT's. Sounded like it was a pretty evenly called game. WYMT said it was the first ever win at Lick Creek for Pikeville, Wow, great win!!

But, I do know if Pikeville could shock the Valley Tuesday night then they are the #1 seed and would meet David in the District, which is a lock to get them into the region. Wouldn't that be a great story if Pikeville were to get in when no one gave them a prayer to get out of the 59th.

Great win Panthers!! Despite some sloppy play at times, and the continuing inability to make free throws late, they found a way to win. They really fought hard in this game.

That is a pretty bold statement!! You seem to have much more confidence in the Valley than their players and fans do!!!
