Ky Team to play Carolina Diamonds

Featured Replies

The Ville 2015 will play Carolina Diamonds whose big man is expected to play at Scott County next year. Should be a good match up for Evan Hall (Knott Central County). This game decides the final 4 for AAU Showcase tournament. The Ville hopes to welcome hm to KY brand basketball.

I've always felt Hall was an underrated player. Maybe he'll be able to show his stuff on a big stage in this one.

I've watched Hall this summer and he is looking great. I thought he was the best player on The Ville when I watched them.

The Ville has been drawing colleges coaches all week to its court. Yes Hall has his looks but others are drawing interest as well. So far in Orlando, Hall has more than held his own on the court. He needs to work on his conditioning more but once he really understands that, he will be fine.

I watched Evan Hall for the first time at AAU state when the ville played the magic and came away very impressed. He dominated that game. Crashed the boards hard, played physical, and his athleticism is something I didn't expect. Very nice player. Does KCC play PCC next season?? I would love to see Hall and Johnson go at it

To clarify my previous statement: I've not seen him this summer. It sounds like he's getting the type of recognition I saw for him having the potential to get going into this year.

Does anyone know who (if anyone) Simon Christian plays AAU with as well?

Yes Simon Christian plays with the Ville as well. He might be limited the rest of the season because of injury the day before.

The Ville lost the the Karolina Diamonds by 3 (55 - 52). Big guy for Diamonds only played a minute (lost the ball, and foul). He is a project and does not play against teams that run. I doubt he will do much for Scott Co next year without some serious work. They do have another sophomore that is the backbone on their team. He had 3 big dunks for them and the went to him when they needed points. Ville had game up by 2 with 2 mins left but made mistakes that will lose any game (ill advised shot, missed free throws, and 2 back court turnovers in a row). But The Ville starts Nationals tomorrow.

Best of lck to The Ville but Karolina Diamonds are a nasty 2016 team. Heard they don't have Seventh Woods anymore, so that should be a big help.

‏@TheVille_2015 Lost by 3 to Karolina Diamonds. Had it won and gave it away

@TheVille_2015 Ugly win but got it done against Team Prospects

@TheVille_2015 Another win against Raleigh Caps, next game for 1 seed vs. South Ga Kings.

The boys does not seems to be playing well although they won both pools games so far. Next game at 1:40 is for number #1 in pool and lots of rest before next game. The guys are on a mission to place @ nationals. Big games by Evan Hall, Jax Levitch, Brandon Johnson, and Michale Stafford.
