Conner's Drew Barker just found out that he made the final 11 ie Elite 11.

 

It's the 2nd time in 3 years a NKY QB has made it.

 

Plus add it in that Pat Towles qualified to go out west two years ago as well.

 

Hats off to the NKY QBs.

Obviously doesn't always mean they have what it takes to make it as a QB at the next level. Just look at the other "Elite" QB from 2 years ago. Barker is different though. Going to catch a game of his this year to see for myself. Should be fun.

Correct on future success. However, PT and now Drew have shown that QBs in NKY are getting some good coaching and development.

NKY does have some of the best QB's. Drew Barker, Pat tolwes, Blake Bir, Drew Moore, Donovan McCoy. We have been spoiled.

Other recent QB's who went to D1 programs - Hempel from Ryle; Bardo from Highlands; Nick West from Conner; Arlinghaus from Holy Cross. Not the high level recruits mentioned above but on D1 rosters.
