Looks pretty conclusive to me. Good thing this wasn't a one run outcome or these pics would rank up there with the Zapruder film and the "Magic Bullet" theory in NKY for years to come. :sneaky:

They were all taken continuous from the same spot.

The zoomed in shot is from the 2nd frame above. You can see the the black grid behind the ball. KC ran through the fencing as she tried to slow/stop.

 

At the time, I was surprised by the call, until I looked at the pictures.

 

Ok that I will agree with if that is a shot of the ball still in the air. You can see her in the zoomed in shot just off to the left edge. At first it looked like it was sitting on the other side on the ground. They actually got it right. Amazing!

I want to rescind my comment about getting it right. After further consideration I believe they still blew the call. The batter actually scored while the outfielder was throwing her hands up. If it was inside the fence it was not a ground rule double.

It hit inside the fence, then either bounced over, through the gap between sections, or under it. No way to tell from the pictures.

 

Don't know enough about the rules to be sure, but seems like the right call.
