Deming 70 Augusta 52

Featured Replies

Deming improves to 6-11 while Augusta falls to 5-12.

Deming was paced by Senior Jordan Massey who had a career high 37 points and 25 rebounds. Freshman Nathan Mitchell added 16 for the Devils.

Augusta was paced by Josh White's 15 points.

Deming played without starter Billy Graves and Augusta without starter Levi Gallagher.

Good Luck to both teams the rest of the season.

Congrats to Deming on an impressive victory, and to Jordan Massey on 37pts and 25 boards, very impressive. As for Augusta, no comment.

Jordan's been turning it on lately. Best game I've ever seen him play. Hang in there Augusta.

Augusta has now dropped to 0-7 on the road with a another road game tonight at St. Patrick. They are 1-1 at neutral sites and 4-4 at home.

Deming improves to 6-11. I still think they are better then what they have shown lately. To Billy Graves best wishes for a speedy recovery man, they need you back out there. Hope you get well Levi.

What is wrong with Graves? Will he be back this weekend?

He tore a tendon or a muscle in his foot during warmups against St. Pat. No conformation on if he will be ready to go by then.

I was told he has a stress fracture in his foot. Out for the season.

If that's correct it would a loss of a fine young man, but Deming has weathered the storm before. Get well Billy. :thumb:

Freshman Nathan Mitchell will get some playing time, he's good little player.

Anyone see the JV game? I am still scratching my head over that one....

Augusta had no one to match up againts Massey with Gallagher hurt. They played two freshmen against him, Ty Krebs and Chris Mofford for most of the second half. Ty did a good job againt him but the damage was allready done.Hardymon got into foul trouble early and Brayde Hamilton was sick, could have really used them on the floor.

Gallagher would not have been matched up with Massey anyway. He is not a post defender he is a good on ball defender on the wing. You also can't use his injury as an excuse because Deming was also without one of their key players. They kind of cancel each other out.
