Not much to say earlier because I had to take a little run. While I was out, I tried to think back to the last time Bracken County beat Montgomery County. A non-lazy person could perhaps look that up, but alas, I'm lazy. I can't recall when & if it has happened. Does anyone else know?

 

Very proud of the Lady Bears tonight. Sounds like Emma pitched pretty well & I love hearing about Woods' slam. Says a lot about this team & its coach to come back from the loss to Mason County in this fashion.

We checked all the way back to 2004 and could not find a win against Montgomery. A lot of discipline tonight, may have only swung at 2 bad pitches all night.

I didn't go back to 2004, but I couldn't remember Katelyn (my sister) ever beating them. I know they beat GRC one year, but I don't ever remember beating Montgomery.

I'm pretty certain this is Bracken's first win over Montgomery since they switched to fastpitch in 1995.
